Welcome to my Heavenly Little Handmades! I'm Kristen Ericson Hecksher or Kristen Hoyt Hecksher on FB and the owner of HLH. I have been sewing many decades tackling everything from clothing when I was younger to mainly décor for the home like window treatments, pillows, bedding, etc. I have also done simple upholstery work and an array of other art/crafting. As a child, I always knew I wanted to be an Interior Designer. With a BS in Interior Design and a minor in Art along with a MA in Facility Design & Mgt, my career has allowed me a very enjoyable career doing what I love.

It has always been a dream of mine to enjoy my later years putting my talents and love of creating beautiful things into practice. This came about a little sooner than I had planned after being introduced to Little Sleepies by my half-sister, Alicia who needed some help with her business. I fell in love with the sweet, buttery soft prints, especially when they are paired with exclusive minky material.

Having operated a successful design business for over 20 years, this was something that came very naturally to me in creating my new business venture....Heavenly Little Handmades!
